How PreciousEggs Works
We understand that everyone’s path is unique and want to make it easy for patients to understand each step to becoming a parent with an egg donor. PreciousEggs is proud to be a program of RADfertility, a leading fertility center in the Mid-Atlantic that started over 25 years ago. We are well equipped to handle you or your gestational carrier’s individualized plan of care.
STEP 1
Register Online to View and Download Full Donor Profiles
Full profiles provide extensive background regarding the donor’s health, family medical history, genetic testing results (when available), as well as their personal achievements, goals and interests.
Step 2
Schedule Your Donor Egg Consult
PreciousEggs offers donor egg consultations with a physician, whether it be in-person or by phone. They will learn about your unique story and medical history as well as help you learn more about the process of using PreciousEggs to grow your family. This consult is a wonderful way for you to review your options with a physician prior to paying any expense.
STEP 3
Medical Evaluation and Psychological Consult
After meeting with a physician, you will be connected with your PreciousEggs Coordinator. They will outline your pre-screening needs and help coordinate the various tests and consultations. One of these is a psychological consult. This informal session is not an evaluation, but an opportunity for you to gather information, resources and guidance for this important decision. All pre-screening tests and consults must be completed prior to selecting a PreciousEggs donor.
Step 4
Select Your Donor
We understand that finding the right donor is a very personal process. Our compassionate staff has years of experience to guide you with as little or as much support that you prefer every step of the way. We encourage you to contact us as soon as possible if there are any donors that interest you. Our interactive tools allow you to search our diverse selection of donors for the characteristics that you value so that you find your Precious Match.
STEP 5
Finalize Your Contract and Payment
Once you have selected your donor, we will provide you the contract to complete. After you have returned your contract, the payment will be processed. We will then begin the donor’s final screening or remove the donor’s eggs from our banked inventory.

Embryo Transfer
Once your embryos have been created they will be ready to be transferred to you or your gestational carrier at RADfertility.
